  23.     I was having a problem myself with the ZIP drive on my GVP.
  24. I was not the same error You report, but when I replaced the GVP
  25. SCSI ROM, all the problems went away.  I am not positive, but you
  26. may need more memory to use Ami-Back.  Although I have never noticed
  27. it to be a memory hog, I have not used it with less than 8MB.  The 
  28. symptoms that my ZIP showed with the GVP G-FORCE 030/40MHz SCSI-II
  29. controller was a tendency to hang up when transfer large amounts
  30. of data (as when I am backing up) to the ZIP drive.  I installed
  31. the GURU-ROM advertised on ACs Amiga magazine and have not
  32. had any problems since.
